Review of Eight Saints Skincare
I recently hauled a bunch of Eight Saints Skincare. They are a fairly new skincare brand, and I have been loving some of the products I’m using from their lineup! The company started in 2019 by Jessica and Lindsey. They felt like the current skincare market was crowded with over-complicated, over-hyped ingredients. So they simplified things and found eight key ingredients that were providing the majority of benefits for our skin. That’s how Eight Saints was born! So, read on for my review of Eight Saints skincare.
Eight Saints Body Skincare Reviews
My favorite thing about Eight Saints, is their natural ingredients. They never use known toxins or controversial synthetics and they are also cruelty free! Definitely something that I want to get behind! I also really love their packaging! Most of their skincare comes it glass jars (no micro plastics!!) that are frosted and super colorful. I love my neutrals, but these colorful products make me happy, and they are so pretty on my vanity! Lets start with the body care items that I’ve been using from the brand.
Eight Saints Island Time Body Spray Lotion
I have to say, this lotion surprised me! Formulated with coconut oil and vitamin E, this spray lotion smells divine and works so well. I love that it isn’t overly greasy and it has a light and coconutty scent that makes me feel like I’m on vacation!
Eight Saints Coco Cocoa Creme Body Butter
This body butter is a perfect companion to the spray lotion! The shea, cocoa, and coconut in the formulation is super calming and hydrating. It has a very lightweight texture for a body butter though, and seems a bit more like a lotion. However the velvety texture and the natural coconutty/chocolatey scent is divine!
Eight Saints Skincare Reviews
Skincare is typically a hit or miss for me. I’m in my 40’s, so I need rich creams and actives that DO something. Some of these products are a huge win for me and some are just okay (meaning, I’ll use them, but I probably wont repurchase). All of Eight Saints products have great qualities (of course being clean is a huge win across the whole lineup!). I love that this brand is committed to clean skincare, and that they offer a lot of clean products. It’s refreshing to find brands that do that!
Eight Saints All In Eye Cream
I do like this eye cream! It touts all eight of the Eight Saints namesake core ingredients. My favorite being the squalene oil, peptides and antioxidants! It has a light texture and a very faint scent (not overpowering or irritating). I wish it was a little richer, but I feel like the ingredient list is good enough to power some great results!
Eight Saints Down to Earth Gel Cleanser
I actually really like this cleanser! At first, I was a little disappointed at how much product you get (only 2 oz. which is small for a full-size cleanser), but when I started using it, I realized that you don’t need much product at all. Only 2 small pumps and it was plenty to clean all the makeup off of my face. It didn’t make my face feel dry or tight and it even got my 3 coats of mascara off! It has a slight, natural scent and a silky lather.
Eight Saints Lip Trick Lip Treatment
This natural vanilla lip mask is awesome! I love vanilla anything, and this has the best vanilla scent and flavor! It’s super hydrating and leaves behind a pretty shine. All of the ingredients in this product are organic, so a huge win! This product has a 5-star review on their website, so that’s really saying something. I also love the peach colored jar too. One thing I will say, is that this lip mask doesn’t have the same “staying” power as some of the other, more popular lip mask brands. I still really like this product over those other products because of the natural ingredients in this one!
Eight Saints Up The Anti Night Cream
This night cream is a powerhouse of active ingredients! With niacinamide (a form of Vitamin B-3 which increases production of ceramides) elastin, and keratin this cream firms and smooths skin while preventing wrinkles. It has a very light scent that feels natural and calming. And the frosted blue jar is so pretty!
Eight Saints Cloud Whip C Cream
Everyone needs a good vitamin C cream! This one is among the best that I’ve tried. I love the silky, whipped texture of this cream, and the ingredients are amazing. They use SAP Vitamin C in this product, which is the most stable form available. It is packed with maximum antioxidant protection, it blocks free radicals, fades sun spots, and prevents discoloration. Vitamin C is a superpowered ingredient and this is Eight Saints shining star in my opinion.
