Review of Fleur & Bee Discovery Set
I can’t wait to tell you all about the Fleur & Bee discovery set! I’m all about clean and natural skincare options. Skincare made with clean ingredients means that they are made without synthetic fragrances, and without hormone-disrupters like parabens, phthalates, dyes, sulfates and more. I love that more and more companies are getting on the clean train as well! There is still so much progress to be made in the skincare and beauty industry. However, the fact that I’m finding these brands is making my heart happy! So read on to see what I think about the Fleur and Bee discovery kit!
Review of Fleur & Bee Discovery Set
Fleur & Bee is a brand that commits itself to clean skincare ingredients. It was created as a better alternative for people who want to make conscious choices about what they put on their bodies. I love backing up these brands! It would be great for these brands to get more attention, so that other companies can resort to better ingredients as well.
I came across this kit on instagram (thank you algorithm. Ha ha!). I immediately started to research the brand. I found myself impressed, so I hit add to cart on the discovery set! Discovery kits are such a great way to test a brand. This set is great because you get a good sized sample with every product. I also feel like they made these sample sizes just as nice as their full-size items. All of the samples in this kit are in a glass amber jar, with a beautiful rose-gold lid.
The Discovery Set
This kit contains sample sizes of 5 different Fleur & Bee products. They include:
- Crème de la cream (0.32 oz)
- Nectar of the C (0.17 oz)
- Just Dew It (0.17 oz)
- H2 Oh Yeah (0.32 oz)
- Eyes Eyes Baby (0.21 oz)
The set comes in a beautifully curated box and all of the products are nested inside. It also contains a cute little envelope that has a coupon for $10 off your next purchase and a packet sample of Youth Fairy Retinol Moisturizer. Overall I think this set is packaged incredibly beautifully! All of the products come in glass amber jars and bottles with pretty rose-gold lids. I love it when products come in glass because plastic containers can leach micro-plastics into the product and that can also get absorbed through your skin.
Crème de la Cream
This brightening cream is lux! I love how rich it is. I’m in my 40’s and moisture loss is a huge issue for me, so I really appreciate a thick formula. It goes on very silky and feels like whipped velvet. It makes my skin feel very hydrated and healthy. This product comes unscented, which I prefer in a moisturizer. It is formulated with Viamin C, Squalane, CoQ10 and hyaluronic acid. The multi-active formula combines peptides, vitamins, and botanicals to protect your skin against signs of aging.
Nectar of the C
This Vitamin C serum has a VERY faint citrus scent that I love and it definitely smells natural. The serum is a light yellow/cream shade. It sinks in after a minute or so and it leaves behind a beautiful dewy glow. The formulation contains 10% Vitamin C which will give you brighter skin and diminish the look of dark spots, fades discoloration and improve the appearance of wrinkles. It also brightens skin while promoting collagen production. Boasting a good amount of squalane and hyaluronic acid to help plump and hydrate the skin.
Just Dew It
Just Dew It is Fleur & Bee’s hyaluronic acid serum. I typically don’t use a hyaluronic acid serum because a lot of products already contain hyaluronic acid in the formulation, so I think adding in a serum is overkill. However, this one is slightly different than most and I will use up this sample because I like the product. I love that it sinks into the skin super fast, and doesn’t leave a gross residue behind at all. I also love that is includes nourishing B vitamins and antioxidants. For a hyaluronic acid serum, the ingredient list is impressive. And, of course this serum is all-natural!
H2 Oh Yeah
This H2 Oh Yeah moisturizer is good. I personally like the Crème de la cream moisturizer more because I like a richer formulation. That definitely doesn’t mean that this one isn’t good. I think this one would be amazing for someone who has more combo/oily skin (I’m a dry skin babe). Again with this moisturizer, there is no scent. It’s a pale-yellow shade and it feels very gel-like going onto the skin. It sinks into the skin quickly and the feeling left behind is lightly hydrated skin. I also think this moisturizer would go great under makeup. Formulated with squalane, CoQ10, sea buckthorn oil, and hyaluronic acid this moisturizer boasts a lot of good ingredients.
Eyes Eyes Baby
This eye cream goes on so silky smooth, and feels refreshing and a little bit cooling. I love the light, very natural smelling fragrance in this eye cream. It feels very hydrating without being greasy and thick. This formulation includes the anti-aging power of caffeine and peptides with potent antioxidants and moisturizing squalane. Along with vitamin B3 and E. I love that it has great ingredients and it immediately feels like it goes to work. This is a best seller for the brand, and I can see why!
